Coach Ross Shimi
Born and raised in Manchester, England, Coach Ross relocated to California’s State Capitol in 2015—the same year the U.S. Women’s National Team won the FIFA Women’s World Cup, a moment that helped inspire his commitment to developing female athletes.
Since then, he has spent more than a decade coaching within competitive clubs across the United States as a U.S. Soccer National B Licensed Coach. He also travels regularly to England to observe elite academy environments, gaining firsthand insight into the standards, coaching methods, and player development systems used at the highest levels of the game.
Coach Ross believes every player deserves an environment that challenges them to reach their full potential. His coaching philosophy emphasizes technical excellence, intelligent decision-making, and a growth mindset, while fostering confidence and resilience both on and off the field.
